Main sign board is positioned at the main entrance of the campsite. On the sign board we have the following notices:

Fire
Fire Risk Assessment
Fire action notices put on the back of entrance doors to Lunney Lodge and Constable Cabin.
Fire exit plans put on the back of entrance doors to Lunney Lodge and Constable Cabin.
Smoke detectors and Carbon monoxide monitors installed to Lunney Lodge and Constable Cabin. These are tested monthly.
Fire extinguishers are installed to Lunney Lodge, Constable Cabin and Tractor shed.
Fire extinguishers tested annually. Expiry date: July 2025.
Fire signage to Lunney Lodge and Constable Cabin fixed to all fire exits and corridors.
Electrical
Constable Cabin, Lunney Lodge and all external toilet and shower blocks have external lighting, of which some external lights are operated by day/night sensors.
Electrical testing and PAT testing.
Electrical testing date is every 5 years.
PAT testing date is once a year.
Gas
Four Propane gas bottles are stored in an enclosure outside of Lunney Lodge.
The gas cooker has an extract hood and gas interlock.
Gas installation is tested annually.
Gas installation test date: 11th April 2025

Pioneering Equipment
Pioneering poles are stored in a rack system.
Incident reporting
Scout incident reporting forms displayed in Constable Cabin and Lunney Lodge.
Volunteers
Work day on Campsite is every Thursday of the year.
We operate a group of 1-7 Community Service Volunteers with a Supervisor. Every Thursday we undertake work activities of landscaping, building maintenance and development of the Campsite.
First Aid
Defibrillator (AED) stored at the entrance to The Manger Public House diagonally opposite the main campsite entrance.
First Aid stretcher stored in the main hall to Lunney Lodge.
Catering
No food stored on site to reduce the egress of rats, mice and squirrels.
Housekeeping and General Site
Main site equipment e.g. pioneering poles, BBQ Altar Fires, Wheelbarrows, Den making materials, Campsite roller, pallets for firewood and building materials stored in a designated compound adjacent to Lunney Lodge.
Two 1100 litre refuse bins positioned at the central field gates are used by all campers and building users to dispose of waste.
Plant, Machinery and Equipment
Two site huts are racked out to contain campsite maintenance materials.
We have two John Deere grass cutting tractors which are serviced as maintenance manual.
Ladders are stored in a rack to the back of Big Shed 5 and regularly inspected for damage.

All above activities are checked weekly for damage and maintenance.
All equipment such as Air rifles, Archery equipment and ropes are checked monthly.
Trees and grounds management
Most of the trees on site have a tree preservation order (TPO) and are detailed on a tree management plan.
Trees are checked weekly for falling branches or fallen trees. We call in a Tree Surgeon as required to correctly manage the trees.
