This historic town is only four miles away and is noted for its fine Cathedral and old Abbey ruins, museums and the superb Abbey Gardens which have won much praise from ‘Britain in Bloom’ judges. The Annual Festival is in May each year, and the town has fine shops and much more to offer.

Bury St Edmunds has a large Information Centre located on Angel Hill, close to the Cathedral. It has a wide range of leaflets and information for local interests in and around the area.
